The challenge
The organisation had been through a period of change and challenge. There was real talent and genuine commitment — but also fatigue, uncertainty, and a tendency to focus on what was not working. A traditional change-management approach would have amplified the problem.
What we did
Rather than beginning with a problem analysis, we used Appreciative Inquiry — systematically identifying the conditions under which the organisation was already at its best, then designing the future around them. Deep conversations with staff at all levels, facilitated workshops to build shared vision, and practical tools and rituals to embed the identified strengths into everyday work.
What changed
- 01
A shift from problem-focused to strengths-based orientation, with a shared language for building on what works.
- 02
Practical tools and rituals embedded — sustainable without ongoing external support.
- 03
Measurable cultural shift within 6 months: improved collaboration, higher reported meaning in work, stronger leadership at all levels.
“Evis has a rare ability to make complex ideas about culture and leadership immediately practical. Our team left the workshops with tools we still use every week.”
